Language: The Greek were the first Europeans to read and write with an alphabet, which led to modern European languages. The Greek language has different theories of origin; firstly some believe that it migrated with rhe proto-Greek speakers into the Greek Peninsula, from 2500 B.C. to 1700 B.C.

Clothing: Ancient Greek clothing was homemade and the same piece of homespun fabric that was used as a garment and blanket. Clothing for woman and one was a Tunic (either a pepolos or chiton) and a Cloak. Pepolos was a big rectangle of heavy fabric, usually wool, folded over the upper area so that he over fold (apoptygma) would usually reach to the waist. Chiton was made from a lighter material, normally linen. It was very long and wide rectangle of fabric sewen at the sides, pinned or sewn at the shoulders, and usually girded around the waist.

Jewelry: Some types of Jewelry was produced in the Hellenstic period of Greece-Neck laces, earings, pendants. pins, bracelets, arm bands, thigh bands, finger rings, wreaths, diadems, and other jewelry. Bracelets were worn in pairs or also in matched sets. Peices mighr of been inlaid with pearls and gems or semiprecious stones-emeralds, garnets, carnelians, banded agates, sardonyx, chalcedony, and also rock crystals. Artists incorporated colorful enamel inlays contrsted with intricate gold.
